## Overview

Check-in is the first in-person impression attendees get. A little preparation keeps queues short and the mood positive.

## Before the day

* Create your **check-in lists** and assign the ticket types each entrance covers.

* Give door staff their own logins and access.

* Charge devices and test a scan.

* Export the attendee list as an offline backup.

## On the day

* Open enough lanes for your expected peak arrival.

* Use QR scanning as the default; search by name only for exceptions.

* Watch the live check-in count from the dashboard.

## Common issues, solved

* **Ticket already checked in** → confirm identity; it may be a duplicate or a shared ticket.

* **Can't find the email** → search by name and check the attendee in manually.

* **Weak connection** → keep the exported list handy as a backup.
