## Overview

The revenue summary is your financial overview for an event or organizer. It separates the numbers that are often confused so you always know what you actually earned.

## What it shows

* **Gross sales** — the total value of tickets sold

* **Refunds** — amounts returned to buyers

* **Tax (VAT)** — collected on behalf of ZATCA (not your revenue)

* **Service fees** — any booking fee you charged buyers

* **Commission** — what Ticket Hero earned

* **Your net share** — what reaches you after the above

## Reading it correctly

* Tax is **not** income — it is money you hold for ZATCA.

* Commission is Ticket Hero's, calculated on the pre-tax ticket amount.

* Use **net share** to reconcile against your payouts.
