## Overview

Creating an event is the starting point for selling tickets. This guide walks you through building a new event from scratch.

## Before you start

Have these ready:

* The event name (in Arabic and English)

* The date, start time, and end time

* The venue or online details

* Which organizer (brand) the event belongs to

* A cover image

## Steps

1. Open **Events** and click **Create event**.

2. Choose the **organizer** the event will be published under.

3. Enter the **event name**. You can provide both an Arabic and an English title.

4. Set the **start and end date and time** (Riyadh timezone by default).

5. Confirm the **currency** — Saudi Riyal (﷼).

6. Add a short **description** of the event.

7. Save to create the event.

Your event is created as a **draft** — it is not visible to the public until you publish it.
